The appreciation of extraordinary merits is an integral component of a knowledge culture.  Special achievement in the science of knowledge, knowledge politics, and knowledge management will be awarded a Knowledge Management Award. In 2010 the second Knowledge Management Award will be awarded to Charles Savage.
